Balancing organic, natural shape with somewhat modernist minimalist accents, the form - itself solid and grounded - seems at the same time to be reaching out and beyond itself animated by some inner energy.
The piece is carved in a beautiful single piece of black walnut wood. and the postument is in oak. (also happy with how the shape and angularity of it dialogues with the main body) Signature is incised on the bottom of the piece
hand polished and protected with a couple of coats of lineseed and tang oils

The photographs on white background show the wood coloration in natural cool daylight; on the studio photos on the black background the piece has been spotlit by simple warm-light LED placed next to it (which clearly works good as display setting)
