I've started working on this small painting in 2018 during my stay in southern Mexico, than I've been retturning to it on and off for about a year altogether adding layer after layer - searching for the kind of vibrance that would make it feel complete.
I've used quite everything here - from acrylic, charcoal, egg tempera, mineral and organic pigments, soil from two continents, oil paints, gold leaf and natural resins.
And yeah, as the title suggests the work is dedicated to my favourite Odilon Redon - domething here about the colours bring him to mind strongly
